So Far So Good

Jokai and I went up to Yokoji this morning during a lapse in the rain and were relieved to see that everything is fine so far. The mile-long dirt road is damaged in places, but nothing that isn't easily fixable. None of the buildings were damaged as far as we could see and the debris pits and channels had caught all the debris and channeled the flow as hoped. The storm is forecast to continue into this evening and die off tomorrow afternoon, so in that time there is still a chance that some damage could occur, but so far it seems that all the preventative measures taken around the grounds have worked.
