Jukai: Taking the Precepts

Congratulations to Susan Yushin Tipton and Muriel Sokei Sasaki who received the Buddhist precepts from Tenshin Roshi today at the conclusion of the April 2014 sesshin.

Susan was given the name Yushin, which translates as 'graceful depth'. Muriel was given the name Sokei, which means 'sangha jewel'.
