This fall, the bi-annual SZBA conference was held at Great Vow Monastery in Clatskanie, OR. A few days following my shiho (dharma transmission) week, I traveled north to represent Yokoji at the meeting and attend the dharma heritage ceremony for those teachers now eligible for full membership of the organization. The SZBA is in a period of strong growth and there was a lot to talk about and listen to. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to attend.
